Welcome to the Peardale Chicago Park Fire Protection District website.
We provide fire and emergency medical response from two stations utilizing two
fire engines, one wildland engine and one water tender. Both of our stations
are located on the Highway 174 corridor and serve the communities of Peardale,
Chicago Park and You Bet/Red Dog. The Fire District is 21 square miles with approximately
3000 residents. Emergency services are also provided to three campgounds
on Rollins Lake: Orchard Springs, Greenhorn and Penninsula, whose summertime
guests swell the district population to over 5000. The department also participates in the California Master Mutual Aid Agreement. This means the Peardale Chicago Park Fire District personnel will respond to emergencies throughout the state of California when requested. On average, the department responds to 300 emergency incidents per year with 80% of the emergency calls being for medical assistance. Our department is staffed by two full time firefighters, two summer seasonal firefighters and 15 paid call volunteer firefighters. Please explore our website to obtain further information about the district and department operations. If you can't find the information you are looking for please contact us for further assistance.
